Family Nurse Practitioner Opportunity (Full-Time)
Busy, well-established and growing Primary Care practice in Hammond, LA has a full-time opportunity for a Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team of medical professionals.
The successful candidate must be a graduate of an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program and hold FNP licensure and DEA licensure for Louisiana. At least one year of NP experience is required.
The selected candidate will perform clinical evaluations and problem assessments, initiate diagnostic and treatment plans and educate patients, among other clinical and administrative tasks.

Clinical Responsibilities:
· Perform comprehensive evaluations, consultations, and follow-up visits
· Prescribe medications, order and interpret laboratory testing and imaging when clinically appropriate
· Educate clinical support staff for delivery of best care
· Collaborate effectively with local physicians of various specialties for continuity
· Document all patient interactions with the use of electronic medical records
Personal Qualifications:
· Expert-level clinical acumen
· Effective and efficient problem-solving skills
· Caring and compassionate to patients, staff, and colleagues alike
· Team player with excellent communication skills
· FNP certified by an accredited board
· Current license to practice in the state of Louisiana
· Current DEA license
